Who We Are And What We Stand For?
After enduring what can be said to be one of the worst working conditions, we the Practitioners of E-Hailing transportation system finally decided to liberate ourselves, hence the creation PEDPA
It is no longer news that Practitioners of the E-Hailing transportation Industry (Drivers and Private Owners) have been made to suffer over the years by most of the existing E-Hailing Application companies who make service policies without due and diligent consultation with the said Practitioners. Drivers have often complained about many inhumane factors including ridiculous fare, favoring riders against drivers irrespective of who is at fault in conflict situations, poor security system (which is the reason why many drivers have been robbed, injured and even killed while trying to provide luxurious transportation for the App. Companies clients), and many more bad treatment.
It is for this reason that some few practitioners decided to form an association to create unity amongst E-Hailing transportation practitioners and subsequently use that unity as a tool to fight for liberation by all lawful and legal means.
Today, PEDPA has over 5000 members and still admitting new members.
MISSION STATEMENT
To foster unity amongst E-Hailing Transportation Practitioners through which the will of all E-hailing drivers will be expressed and realised.
To use the power unity to negotiate or create the best possible working condition for Practitioners.
It is also our mission to make the E-Hailing industry as lucrative as possible thereby attracting more investors into the industry and commanding respect for E-Hailing Drivers and Practitioners.
VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to take away the power to control and make policies away from those who knows little or nothing about it and give it to the real Transporters who, as a matter of fact, the ones who are investing their resources in the industry.
