GREAT E-HAILING PILOTS ? Let’s stand to say no to drivers badges and tags
?The issue of badges and tags is still in the table of Mr Governor, as professional e-hailing drivers and Private-owners Association (PEDPA) already send out letters to the Governor and the commissioner asking for a total removal of both documents from our needed documents
✍?It’s important we all agree with PEDPA by abstaining from collecting the document
WE STAND ON THE INITIAL AGREEMENT THAT IT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO APP COMPANIES AFTER PAYING THEIR LICENSES, IF GOVERNMENT CAN’T IMPLEMENT THAT, THEN THE DOCUMENT SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM E-HAILING COMPLETELY❗❗❗*
LET’S SPEND THESE EARLY PARTS OF THE 90DAYS WINDOW FIGHTING FOR OUR RIGHT, WHATEVER THE OUTCOME, WE CAN’T LOOSE MORE?♂️?♂️?♂️
WE ALSO USE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REMIND THE GOVERNOR ON THE NEED FOR ALL ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS NOT TO HARASS OUR MEMBERS UNTIL 90DAYS WINDOW EXPIRES?
We are very hopeful and trust that his Excellency Governor sanwo-olu will be magnanimous to stay by his word and the agreement of the 14th August, 2020 and grant our prayers very soon.
We want to appeal to all e-hailing drivers community again! To desist from going to acquiring both drivers badge and vehicle tag personally until we get reply from Mr Governor on our prayer for scrapping off these documents or compel the app companies to take responsibility and PEDPA is going to issue directive to this effect, we should also bear in our mind that 90days window for all documentation will end on 27th November, 2020 so there is no cause for alerm as PEDPA will resist every attempt by any government agency to exhort or intimidate our drivers, we also advise every e-hailing drivers that your other car documents and drivers liecences are up-to-date to avoid lawful arrest.
We have also written letter to all app companies for discussion on proper partnership, operating guidelines and workable relationship between drivers and ride hailing firms that is seeking e-hailing drivers service on her platform and we are also awaiting their response
In unity & boldness we can fight, App companies & government can’t beat our one voice?
… UNITED WE ARE STRONGER
